This policy explains what information Ryan Dooley("we", "us") collects and how we use it. It covers this website, which describes and sells downloadable code templates, and the live demo applications linked from it. Together these are the "Site".
This website itself has no user accounts and no login. The demo applications do have a login - see section 3.
Across this website we do only two things with personal data:
The demos are live, running copies of the Templates, provided so you can try them before buying. Trying one means creating a real account, so this is the one place on the Site where we hold personal data you have given us directly.
Because a demo is a sandbox that we may wipe at any time, please keep what you put in it throwaway: use made-up names, addresses, and files rather than real ones, don't upload anything confidential, and don't reuse a password from any other account.
Signing in sets a session cookie so the application knows you are logged in. That cookie is strictly necessary for the login to function, is not used for tracking or advertising, and is discarded when your session ends.
The demos also report crashes and slow requests to Sentry so we can fix them. Those reports are technical - the error, the page it happened on, and your browser version - and are not used to build any profile of you. The demos record no session replays.
When you buy a template, the checkout and payment are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record. We do not receive or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment information under its own privacy policy; we receive only the order information needed to fulfil and support your purchase (such as your email address and what you bought).
We rely on these third parties to run the Site:
Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
We use no tracking cookies anywhere on the Site. Our analytics keep no identifier on your device - not a cookie, and nothing in local storage - so each visit is counted on its own and cannot be linked to your previous ones. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party tracking pixels.
This website sets no cookies at all. The demo applications set one strictly necessary session cookie when you sign in, as described in section 3; without it the login cannot work. Because we set no cookies beyond that, there is no non-essential tracking for you to consent to or opt out of.
Our hosting and DNS providers process standard server request data (such as IP address and browser user-agent) to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse, as any web host must.
We keep waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from our mailing list. Analytics data is retained for 12 months and is not tied to an identified person.
A demo account and its contents live only in that demo's database. They stay until you delete the account yourself, until we clear the demo down, or until we remove inactive accounts - whichever comes first. Deleting your account removes its associated data at the same time.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@rdooley.dev. Two things you can do faster yourself: unsubscribe from the waitlist using the link at the bottom of any email we send, and delete a demo account, along with its data, using the delete account option inside that demo.
California residents. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we have never done so. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
